Overview
Chance Education started in 2008 when founder Alex Ma returned from overseas after completing his education.Later on he recruited a team of talented foreign teachers and coaches to offer different classes and training programs. Our specialty is middle, high school programs in the US, college test preparations and applications. Chance Education has won recognition and acknowledgment domestically and internationally. We have helped many students come to study in middle and high schools across the US, some of which have continued and graduated from top ranking schools including but not limited to Stanford, UC Berkeley, and New York University - often with scholarships. Alex is also working in Dominican University of California as a global graduate programs manager where he completed his Masters in Business Analytics at Barowsky School of Business.
Homestay
Our homestay partner world Skan is a leader in global education and one of the most experienced international student homestay providers. Director Harry Skandera has more than 12 years of experience in placing international students in American Christian families, many homestay parents are school teachers and members of faculty. Mr Harry’s international experience in homestay management and residential operations helps international students studying abroad in the United States find caring host families. International students who choose a homestay program gain experience learning a new culture, enhance their language skills, make lasting relationships, and become members of a connected and cooperative global community.
College Applications
Chance Education helps students step-by-step through the admissions process, with special focus on the areas where students need the most support. Ivy Leage Schools Camps
An increasing number of selective colleges are beginning to scrutinize how applicants spend their summers during high school. Today, the majority of competitive colleges offer at least one pre-college program inviting high school students to explore campus, visit with faculty, and even take courses during the summer. Chance education has been assisting the high school students to experience Ivy League summer programs and help them get professors’ recommendation letters and earn college credits.
Oversea Study
There is a growing number of students that are considering opportunities to study abroad. From consulting services to full-time intensive study, Chance Education offers services to help students get accepted by their dream schools. Chance Education consultants work closely with students and their parents throughout the entire process: from school selection and application, to scholarship applications, to the visa and immigration process, to practical assistance such as picking up from airports and sending them to their desired American homes. Moreover, we offer a wide range of training programs to make sure students are well-prepared to be interviewed, pass the admission tests and get accepted.
Test Preparations
Chance Education offers online test preparation courses specifically designed to prepare students for the major standardized exams used internationally. Our test preparation courses focus on quality instruction and test-taking techniques designed to help students achieve high scores. We offer intensive versions of our courses, which can be completed in shorter time periods. We provide the following test preparations: SAT ACT All AP subjects All IB subjects IELTS TOEFL GRE GMAT.
Summer & Winter Camps
Chance Education has organized 6 years of studying tours and camps (usually during the Chinese school vacations) such as summer camps and winter camps. The programs may be divided into several categories, including Summer Schools, K-12 Classes, Top Universities, Language Courses, Themed Camps, Kindergarten Family Program, each with a series of educational resources. Chance Education also helps families with visa applications, school selection, accommodations and airports pickups.
Internship
Going to a good school gives us better employment prospects. However in today's dynamic economy, the competition is very high. Chance Education has been assisting college students find internships for students to do in their summer holidays. Through a vast network of industries and professions, Chance Education helps facilitates this bridge and this has led to many students getting full-time offers after graduation.
